Following an external review which identified Computing as an area for development, Chapelford Village Primary School used The PTI Primary Hub to transform its Computing curriculum.
The school developed a clear, progressive curriculum across Computer Science, Information Technology, and Digital Literacy, making much better use of its existing robotics and technology resources. The team worked to strengthen its whole-school Digital Literacy provision, introduced a Year 6 unit exploring AI, and developed clearer progression from EYFS onwards.
The work has increased staff confidence and changed pupils’ experiences of Computing, helping them move beyond simply using technology to understanding it, thinking critically about it, and using it safely, creatively, and responsibly.
