Home > What we do > Subject Leadership Programme

The Subject Leadership Programme is built from a national network of heads of department and subject leaders seeking to make the greatest impact within their schools.

Members of the Programme develop leadership approaches aimed at supporting effective teaching and learning within their department.

The Programme is completed through an action-based research project and is designed so members can take inspiration from other heads of department facing similar challenges.

  • Enhance your department by:
  • Developing a challenging, innovative and enriching curriculum
  • Sharing best practice and developing practical approaches for running your department
  • Empowering your students to use your subject as a tool within, and beyond, the curriculum
Attend the PTI Subject Leadership Residential in Summer 2021 to join the Programme.
